Carol Bell & Marc Gaiger - Metal & Ceramic Clocks I live, have my studio and pottery school in an old factory building along the Erie Canal in Fairport, New York. I have been an artist, potter and educator for over 35 years. The joy I receive from getting to make art, play in clay and show others how to think outside the box is really so rewarding to me. My slogan for the school and life is "Be Creative Be Happy" ! My creations make people smile and that is my reward for doing all the hard work involved with being self-employed. After over six years together as self employed artists and life partners, Marc Gaiger, a metal artist, and I have introduced a new line of clocks and we are very excited about them. These one-of-a-kind "Timepieces Clocks" featuring assorted shapes, powder-coated color finishes and faux painting with handmade ceramic tile that has incredible glazes. Next, slab tile clay is cut into tiles and glazed with assorted colored glazes including metallics, glaze fireworks and airbrushed glaze techniques. Finally each Timepiece Clock is collaged with tiles & metal. They have USA made quartz movements and custom painted hands. Battery is not included. Each clock will vary slightly but beautifully due to it's hand-made nature. |
